Vocational Wellbeing

What is Vocational Wellbeing

For most of us, discovering our vocation is a journey of education, decisions, and experiences. Vocational wellbeing consists of an occupation that aligns with our skills and values, challenges us, and gives us a sense of fulfillment. Important components consist of goals and ambition, job satisfaction, and a feeling of meaning and purpose. Vocational wellbeign helps us foster work/life balance, allows us to feel a sense of satisfaction and stimulation , opens doors to new opportunities, helps us discover new skills and interests, and allows us to experience a feeling of worth and value .

Vocational wellbeing is about balancing our life with a satisfying vocation that aligns with our skills and values, challenges us, and gives us a sense of satisfaction, enrichment, and meaning through our work. Our vocation can be a paid job. It can also be volunteering work, hobbies and interests to which we dedicate significant time and resources that provide us with fulfillment, meaning or purpose.
